Has KRIS started going off Dog-face.... ever since...?

Kris is quite obviously as gay as a Cavalier but in denial about it. He should drop simple Sophie and proclaim his love for dim-but-nice Charlie; better to be 100% of what you really are than pretend to be 40% of something that you're not. Poor old Kris is as dull as dishwater and the sooner he goes the better as far as I am concerned.
