My friend is upset because she has to work on her birthday. Am I the only one who thinks that's silly.?

She turned 27 today she has a 2 year old daughter (not biological) and she's upset because she can't be off on her birthday. I mean geez, I've had to work on birthday when I had a job, it wasn't a big deal. I think she should be happy to have a job this day and time.
