What would happen if a player scored on the other team's basket (basketball) and get fouled...?

Cont: Who would get the points? Would the other team (the closest player getting the points?) get 2 points, and you would go down to shoot your own free throw? I know it's a crazy scenario but i really want an answer. Thanks
