If you have stopped being an evangelical, have you remained a Christian?

I'm interested in hearing from people who formerly considered themselves evangelicals but now have stopped. What caused you to leave the evangelical fold, and has it caused you to leave Christianity as well? Examples might be a better understanding of the historical roots of Christianity in Judaism and how the faith has developed over the past 2,000 years; a different understanding of the Bible as a sacred text; frustration with the evangelical church and its most prominent voices; or some other sort of natural growth. I'm not looking for hostile answers, but honest ones. Thanks.

Hey Jake. You've been lying for such a long time that you are so used to it. It's a habit now, and that's why you can't stop. What u need to do is accept who you are and be proud of yourself, once you do that you won't have to lie to anyone. Don't worry about people accepting you, if they love you it doesn't matter who you are and if they don't accept you, well, then they weren't worth your time to begin with. Hope this helped.

Whats the stupidest thing a teacher has ever said to you?

So it was my last day of math cl before school was out and I forgot to bring in a packet for mid terms so I could get extra points since I was running out of the house because I was already late to school and I could get in deep trouble if I did not show up or if I was late for midterms. At the end of cl my teacher came around and collected the packets being it was the last day of that cl I really did not put much thought into it thinking it was really that big of a deal since I pretty much aced the midterm...I was dead wrong. My teacher pulled me out of the room to explain why I did not have it I told him I was running late which he knew about since my friend texted me and asked me where I was as my brother and I pulled into the parking lot. He told me I manipulated him the whole year I was in shock that he felt that way. But I found even more shocking he would say that to a 14 year old student that has ped in her work. WAUG?

I'm having problems with connecting on my laptop (to the Internet )?

So, on my laptop (which I keep very clear of any viruses by the way) I can't connect to any websites besides Gmail. I don't know why this is, since it is connected to wifi. I have windows 7 on a very new laptop (only been around a few months). When I try to connect it brings up "Internet explorer cannot displaythe webpage." and when I click on the troubleshooter it tells me "the remote device resource won't accept the connection." it's telling me that tha means the webpage isnt set up to receive signals? So basically, every webpage i tryis not able to recieve signals from me except gmail. I have tried restarting the computer (which only works for about fifteen minutes before it goes back to not working), I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi, disconnecting the power cable to the router and reconnecting it about 30 seconds later. None of this works. Also, every once In a while a "backdoor" virus shows up in windows defender. I keep getting rid of it and reappears. It hasn't shown up in a bit, but it keeps coming back. Does this have anything to do with it? I have webroot security software, and it works quite well. I keep scanning and it keeps coming up with nothing. Any suggestions? Sorry for the long explanation. and any weird errors that might be going on in it, I'm on my iPod and it always changes things oddly (also it's hard to type). I am wanting to buy some specific books online, I was wanting to know if there was any cheap, older, used, new book websites, where you can buy books and have them mail to you. When I say old I mean from 1985+, the books are mainly romance, like Johanna Lindsey, Cie Edwards, and Diana Palmer. It is ATX. The upgrade is the best one you can do. The cooling in the "White Elephant" is terrible. I dropped 20C by changing the case. A mid tower ATX case will do the job well. My 9000 resides in a Antec 300 case. Front and back are 120mm fans, top a 140mm. Included with the case. The 92mm rear fan does not do the job in the stock case. Save the front 120mm located in front of the hard drive as a spare. You will need the hardware included (screws & stands) with a new case, Dells stuff is not transferable. The power source is not going to fit and is not standard ATX. It is a fire hazard also. Try to find and purchase a bottom mount PSU case as it will run cooler also. Antec, Coolermaster, Rosewill,and Compucase all offer very nice cases in the 50 dollar range, or less on sale. Link below to shop. Hope it helps.

Likely, they will tell you that they have a study group, a tutor, visit the professor's office hours every week AND study every day (even on the weekends). You can also succeed in your cles, you just really need to put in the work.

Yes, there is math involved. There is a LOT of graphing things, so if you did well in the graphing portion of math cles, this is the most important part. There will be a smaller amount of algebra involved, using formulas like 2a + 5b = c. If you can do well with that level of math, then the intro Econ course will work fine for you. If not, you probably should do your math cles first and save econ for your sopre year.

What should you do when you're inside and there is an earthquake?

I am currently living in Greece and we've been having a lot of earthquakes lately. The last significant one was about 100 km from us but two people were killed near the epicenter and it was so strong even here that everything fell of our shelves. Now we continue to have many small quakes (there was a 5.7 at 5 am this morning about 40 km from here) and I never know what to do when they happen because everyone seems to have their own theory. it sounds like you are driving a manual transmission or you probably wouldnt be having this problem. really, it just takes some getting used to. youre a new driver, you cant expect to pick up on everything right away. but it sounds like you at least know what you need to do. learn the position at which the clutch engages the engine. then, just hold you foot at that point so when you apply the gas, you start moving right away without having to find where the clutch engages. for steep hills, the handbrake method works well. just keep in on until you feel the car want to move. you dont need to give it a ton of gas, just keep a light foot and apply slightly mroe than normal gas and you should be fine. its just about practice though!

I knew someone years ago who canned jars of soup mixes--corn, potatoes, etc. and she would cook some meat and add it to it or else drain it and use for meatloaf filling. There were recipes in it for canning whole chickens, etc. but think if it doesn't seal, which happens sometimes, if would have to be done over again or used right away. I just incorporated my own business, it's an LLC. I have a question for tax write offs. I need a new computer for my business to start, I share an account with my spouse, both of our names are on the account. Ford maverick problems?

i've just bought a ford maverick with what i think is a fuel feed problem. when you prime the lift pump the car runs ok for a short while then loses power until you prime the lift pump again. the bloke i bought it off said he placed the engine with a known good one and a good diesel pump. i've put a one way valve on the fuel return hoping that would make the lift pump stiff but it doesn't work. i was told that the lift pump plunger will go solid when it's pumped up properly and stay like it but you could pump it all day and it won't go stiff. could the cause of my problem be the lift pump and air is getting into the fuel via a faulty diaphram. or could it be something else. thx

3 Weeks Pregnant And Cramping?

My last period was April 7th it started off normal but towards the end of my period I had very heavy bleeding for a few hours. I was due to start my period again May 4th and it did not start but I have had cramping. I went to the hospital on Friday and they did a ultrasound and said they did not see anything they also used the l probe and did not see anything. I took a pregnancy test on the 4th and it was positive. I just wanted to know if all of this is normal. The only time I had was April 15th and April 16th so I would only be around 3 weeks after conception. Is it normal not to see anything at all using a regular ultrasound and l probe? Is it possible I was pregnant back in April when I had my period and lost it but it is still showing up positive? The cramping I have been having is in my lower abdomen and it started about a week in a half ago but as of today it seems to be on the left side of my lower abdomen.

Some sort of incentive program...cause and effect...based on rewards of some type will be very motivating to this type of student. Also have some sort of progress chart where the student can actually 'see' their progress. Also, try and be creative by giving fun projects where the students interactively help in 'teaching' the cl. What Water should I use? Spring, Filtered, Distilled??? Confused!!?

Im currently using the Nursery Water for my Son who will be 4 months on Dec. 2nd. He has been using it since he was about 2 months, I have been hearing not such great things for the nursery water, since it contains added floride. Im going to change the water but was just curious what is best? should I stick with distilled? I heard because its distilled all the needed minerals are taken out, so Im just confused. And advice? Do you still ovulate and can you still get PG with a cyst?

I am not sure that I have a cyst, but it seems that I might have some of the symptoms. I believe I ovulated a few days ago based on temps and CM, but yesterday I had EXTREME cramp-like pain during and after . It was pretty unbearable; I couldn't move without it hurting and it was so painful that I felt nauseous. It seems to have dulled down today, but I still have a mild cramp. If it is a functional cyst, could I still have ovulated and gotten pregnant? We BD'd all 3 days leading up to and the couple of days after the time I think I O'd, so I really hope I don't have a cyst or that it doesn't stop us from getting a BFP.

Can a radioactive material transffer it's radioactivity to another substance?

I recently purchased a small sample of radioactive uranium ore for testing out my geiger counter and learning to use it, I am aware that it isn't a deadly amount of radiation that is being emitted from the sample but nonetheless am a bit worried about it. Will a bmw cd changer work with a Alpine iDA-X305S receiver?

Alpine uses the Ai-Net system to wire in extras like CD changers, sound processors, etc. BMW would be completely different. In my opinion CD changers are a 90's technology. With all the portable media players out there they just aren't worth the hle anymore. I can put more song on a thumb drive than I can have with a 6-disc changer. I'm also guessing since you're looking at the iDA-X305S that you're using an iPod or iPhone. The iDA-X305S will play Apple Lossless from those devices so if it's sound quality that you're looking for you can still have it. The one thing you have to ask yourself is when do you really use CD's anymore? Most people when they actually think about it don't use them at all. Whereas if you have an iPhone you probably do use Pandora far more and the iDA-X305S gives you control of that app and most head units with a CD player don't.

Orange dye* on cheap internet pregnancy test? Has this happened to you before?

ughhh so today I am 8 dpo and i took the test after coming in from work for the hell of it. As I was observing the test, while the urine was ping through the test it had a orange color at the end of the urine on the test ( it went away) and after two minutes i seen a very faint but there line. Its an internet cheapie, you know the one where you can get 20 for like 10. Could the test be faulty? and the second line could be from the orange dye or whatever that was? ( the line isn't really in your face, but you can see it, it's just pretty faint) I took 2 others and one was negative and the other i just don't know. I am going to wait until 10 dpo to test again, but has this happened to you before and it was a bfp????? I am going NUTS

HELP baby daddy drama?

So basically when I was pregnant my baby's father split. It wasnt until My now son was 14 months and coincidentally when they started detaching his wages for CS that he came around. He wanted to meet the baby. Since we live in different cities I was the one driving 4 hours to see him once a month and paying for the hotel (since he still lived with his parents and they didnt know about him seeing me) after about 6 months of this seeing each other on a monthly basis he decides he thinks me and him should go our separate ways because all he does is ignore the child and he thinks he wants to move on with his life and just pay the support. He says i need someone that will care and not just want a good time.. When I probed him about it he pretty much told me that the child is the biggest mistake of his life and that everytime he sees us he is reminded of his mistake. So I asked him by not seeing me and his son if that was his way of moving on.. his response was "yes kinda" I was very confused because at first he was so great.. and he said that was because he was optimistic that it would work out and now he knows it wont but he didnt give me a reason. And since then every time i offered to come down and see him with the baby he firmly says no thanks! i havent seen him in 4 months and it hasnt gotten any easier.. and to top it off my mother died 2 months ago. I desperately want to see my childs dad so my son can be happy and have a guy to call daddy if only for that weekend he sees him. How can I convince him to see us? Please no judgements.. I have a laptop with in-built wireless LAN adapter. I also have an ethernet port of LAN through ADSL modem. Presently I connect my laptop to LAN through ethernet port using RJ45 cable. This restricts my movement as I have to keep my laptop near the LAN port. I am searching for a device which can convert ethernet port of physical LAN to wireless LAN so that I need not connect my laptop to ethernet port instead I should be able to use LAN on my laptop anywhere in my house without any physical connection. Poop eating dogs?

ok so i have 3 dogs. 2 of which eat their own stool and eachothers stool. only one will not eat stool, but enough time pes watching the others she might do it too. i tried for-bid and deter; sorta worked but not really. i do keep their poop picked up but this is my problem... with 1 of my dogs he seriously watches the other dogs and when he sees them squat he speeds over there and seriously eats the poop mid air. obviously its not boredom or cleanliness. i have read maybe its their diet, i feed nutro natural choice. it might not be the best in the whole wide world but it is a premium food up there with royal canin and science diet, i doubt they're lacking nutrients. i doubt a switch in their diet will have any effect if forbid and deter arnt working. i did sprinkle chili powder on some stools and they wont eat those ones, but they're smart and they know that the stool straight from the source will not be tainted w/chili powder. i dont know what to do.
